Cold Room Install – Bristol Fast Food Outlet

The Cook:Chill Team were contacted by a new Franchise of Maeme’s Piri Piri, requiring a floorless modular cold room for their new outlet in Whitchuch, Bristol. This was a time critical project as the client had other equipment arriving from Germany and they needed the cold room in place before it arrived.

Following a site survey and meeting with the client, a 1.8m(w) x 2.2m(d) x 2.0m(h) floorless room with racking was specified as it would maximise the cold storage capacity within the space they had available and allow for ease of stock rotation. The refrigeration unit selected was a Rivacold monoblock system, which is more than capable of holding the products at their required temperature.

Due to the refurbishment of the site, the installation window was quite tight and agreed for a Saturday morning. The products were delivered on Friday so that they would be waiting for the Install Team to arrive. The room was built, racking installed and commissioned in 5 hours!
