Another installation complete
The team have been near Frome undertaking the first of a three-part project for a pub that’s expanding into the commercial sales of over a dozen flavours of pie.
The client called Ardo Cold Rooms looking to talk through their expansion plans, it quickly became apparent that there were many elements to the project and that a site meeting would help put everything into perspective. A few days later, we walked the site discussing the process, equipment and best solutions. With the client happy, we came away with full knowledge of what they were looking to achieve. Full specifications and a quotation was provided to the client and they subsequently gave the go ahead.
Phase 1 was to install a modular freezer room. As you can see from the pictures below, the client’s brief was to maximise the space in an underutilised storage area. We installed a 2970 x 3170 x 2000mm panel build freezer with 3 tier racking to 3 walls, all cooled by a single phase Rivacold monoblock.
This has increased the clients storage capacity 5 fold and eliminated their reliance on chest freezers. Not only will this decrease on going energy costs but allows for better stock rotation.
We’re looking forward to getting back down to site soon for the next phase.
