Loughborough based pharmaceutical company had recently taken on additional warehousing due to an increase in sales. Before operations could begin within this new unit, and to remain MHRA compliant, the company needed a cold room to meet very specific criteria.
Ardo Cold Rooms were contacted and asked to attend a site meeting to discuss the cold room requirements. With the information gathered, a complete specification, drawings, costs and industry references were supplied. Once due diligence was completed, Ardo Cold Rooms were happy to hear that they had been successful in being the preferred supplier.
The Pharma Cold Room design and specification included 100% refrigeration redundancy with auto-change-over, remote temperature monitoring and control, and a man-trap alarm . A specifically designed control panel was also required to ensure that all the functionality integrated seamlessly. The room required a bespoke sized sliding door and LED lighting.
As part of the package the client also opted for the complete aftercare offering which ensures that the equipment is serviced and calibrated at regular intervals in line with manufacturers and industry guidelines.
