A camlock insulated panel system is commonly used in the assembly of a cold room. It consists of prefabricated insulated panels that are assembled together using camlock fasteners, hence the name “Camlock”. The camlock itself consists of two metal catches coated with an anti-corrosion treatment and fitted in high resistance PVC Casing.
Ardo Cold Rooms camlock wall and ceiling panels are made of polyurethane foam sandwiched between two food safe faces, and are designed to provide high thermal efficiency. The floor panels have a resistant coating in a non-slip phenolic resin and have a Class 3 anti-slip classification certificate.
Camlock cold rooms are used in a variety of industries, including food service, hospitality, or retail industry, maintaining the freshness and safety of perishable goods is crucial. They are available in both chill and freeze applications, various sizes and configurations, ranging from small walk-in units to large industrial installations.
The camlock system not only simplifies the installation process but also ensures an airtight seal between the panels, optimising energy efficiency and temperature control.
